honestly, i’m pretty disappointed. Not because the song that won is trash, but because everyone criticized Italy last year because of “culture appropriation”, when that was the point of the song. He was talking about how wrong and bad cultural appropriation is, yet, netta appropriated japanese culture solely for the aesthetic and everyone is kissing her ass. The message on the lyrics might be good, but the general song sucks and the european hipocrisy is really evident.
